Ed Asner, star of ‘Up,’ dies at 91
An award-winning actor known for television roles, he has won the Ammy seven times.
Asner, a veteran of the US Army, has taken on a wide range of roles throughout an acting career that spanned seven decades, playing burly cops and dark heavyweights in the 1960s while captivating younger generations in 2009’s “Up”.
Ed Asner’s family was published in his official Twitter account on Sunday:
“We are sorry to say that our beloved patriarch passed away this morning peacefully. Words cannot express the sadness we feel. With a kiss on your head- Goodnight dad. We love you.”
