Nintendo revealed this morning that Steve and Alex from Minecraft will be added to the list of characters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch. This is the second character announcement on the Fighter Pass Vol. 2 DLC available for $ 29.99.

The presentation showed Steve in action, playing on a special Minecraft-themed stage. Players will be able to play as Steve or Alex and switch to Enderman or a Zombie as alternatives. Minecraft’s blocky style represented a major challenge for the team, said game director Masahiro Sakurai.

There will be broadcast on Saturday, October 3 at 10:30 am ET / 7:30 am PT, where they will give more details about the styles of the game and also announce the release date of the characters.
