Chris Evans will voice Buzz Lightyear in the new Pixar film
Disney revealed its plans for future releases on its Streaming platform. One of the attractions will be the film “Lightyear”, that’s right! Buzz Lightyear.
Pixar announced on Thursday the production of the animation “Lightyear” – the definitive story of Buzz Lightyear, and who will be the voice of the protagonist will be Chris Evans.
The pre-sequence of “Toy Story”, will open in theaters on June 17, 2022, tells the story of a young test pilot who becomes a space guard.
Evans posted on Twitter:
He wrote: “Just to be clear, this is not the Buzz Lightyear toy. This is the origin story of the human Buzz Lightyear on which the toy is based.”
Angus MacLane, who has worked as an animator for “The Incredibles”, “Monsters, Inc.,” WALL · E “and” Ratatouille “, is expected to direct the new film.
