Pablo Escobar’s nephew claims he found $ 18 million in the drug lord’s hideout
Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria continues to give what to say almost 27 years after his death. Nicolás Escobar, one of his nephews, said he found a new hideout for the Colombian drug dealer.
He revealed that in the new “cove” 18 million dollars were found, a pen, a nugget of gold, communication radios, a camera, and a typewriter.
“I have always said it and I say it with great pride: I am Pablo Escobar’s oldest nephew, who knew how to accompany him on many, many opportunities.”, Said Nicolás.
Nicolás said the money – already unusable – and the objects were found in an apartment located in the Las Palmas sector, in the city of Medellín, where he has lived for five years.
“I had been there for about four or five years and every time I sat in a dining room and looked at the place where the parking lot was, through those windows, I first started to see a man entering that place and they disappeared “, he said.
And he continued: “There was a very large bag and the smell was impressive. ”.
According to Nicolás, the money found is “useless”, due to its state and age. Also, there was a roll on the camera, but it could not be developed.
