Apple Marina Bay Sands to open this Thursday in Singapore
Apple’s most audacious store design floats on the waters of Marina Bay. It will open this Thursday, September 17th.
Apple today introduced Apple Marina Bay Sands, its first store built on water. With the appearance of a floating sphere in the illuminated Marina Bay, the store offers a new and captivating shopping experience in one of Singapore’s most iconic places.
Apple Marina Bay Sands, completely surrounded by water, inspired by the Pantheon in Rome, offers a 360º panoramic view of the whole city and its spectacular skyline. The sphere is an unprecedented construction, and the structure of the dome is all glass and totally self-supporting, composed of 114 pieces of glass connected by only ten narrow vertical beams. This new store is Apple’s third in Singapore and creates an unforgettable space for customers.
Visitors entering the store are faced with the impressive size of this dome, where they can explore products and accessories specially selected by Apple, receive technical support from our Genius team or enjoy the stunning view of Marina Bay.
At the center of the Forum is the Video Wall, which will serve as the stage for Today at Apple sessions with Singaporean artists, musicians and creatives. Entrepreneurs and developers interested in receiving training or guidance rely on the employees of our business team in Apple’s first submerged Boardroom, located on the store’s lower floor.
