1. Overview & Data Philosophy

ZeekBuzz is an evidence-aware creator platform designed to minimize personal data collection. We focus on public platform telemetry (views, metadata, keywords) and never request access to YouTube Studio or private channel tokens.

2. Information We Collect

We collect: (a) Authentication: Name, email, and avatar via Google OAuth and Firebase; (b) Workspace: Public videos, channels, and keywords you submit, plus generated briefs; (c) Telemetry: IP, browser user agent, and diagnostic logs for security; (d) Consent: Preferences chosen in our consent interface.

3. How We Use Information

Information is used strictly to: (a) Authenticate your workspace; (b) Enforce plan quotas and credits; (c) Process AI generation requests you initiate; (d) Maintain platform reliability and block scraping abuse; (e) Meet legal and accounting obligations.

4. Public Platform Signals & External APIs

We access publicly observable platform metrics via official YouTube API services in adherence to YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. We do not collect private watch histories, subscriber identities, or drafts.

5. Third-Party Infrastructure & Processors

Core providers: (a) Cloudflare Workers & D1: Edge routing and encrypted database storage; (b) Google Cloud / Firebase: Identity management; (c) Stripe: Payment processing and Customer Portal (Stripe handles cards directly; ZeekBuzz never stores card numbers); (d) Google Analytics 4: Web telemetry, subject to consent.

6. Advertising & Free Tier Disclosures

Allows Google AdSense contextual/non-personalized ads. Google may use advertising storage and identifiers for frequency controls, aggregate reporting and fraud prevention. This does not permit personalization. Paid accounts remain ad-free. Allows ads based on your interests or past activity. Requires basic advertising permission. Reject All refuses optional analytics, advertising and personalization; it never authorizes NPA. Limited ads require supported signals and transparency about Google, delivery and security, including fraud-only storage where applicable. Paid/Admin have no display ads. Applicable certified CMP signals use IAB TCF v2.3.

7. Cookies & Consent Management

Manage your preferences for cookies and advertising technologies. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for security and core functionality. Analytics, basic advertising and personalization are separate choices. V1 choices stay blocked until a new explicit V2 decision.

8. Data Retention & Security

Account and workspace records remain while active; operational logs roll over every 30 days. We enforce TLS 1.3 in transit, multi-tenant database isolation, fail-closed authorization, and automated security monitoring.

9. Your Rights & Data Portability

Under GDPR, LGPD, and CCPA, you have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account and workspace data in account settings or request erasure.

10. Contact & Data Controller

For privacy questions, data handling inquiries, or regulatory requests, reach out through the authenticated account support channel.
