Delete Account & Data

1. Send a request

Email privacy@zeekbuzz.com, preferably from the address associated with your ZeekBuzz account. State that you request account and data deletion. Do not send passwords, session tokens, Google credentials or unnecessary identity documents.

2. Verify your identity

The sender address alone is not sufficient proof in every case. We must establish that you control the account through an authenticated confirmation or another proportionate, secure verification. We will explain the required steps; no third party may authorize deletion of your account.

An operator sends a one-time confirmation challenge to the email already registered on the account, not merely to the sender of an incoming request. A valid reply is tied to that exact account and request. If you cannot use that mailbox, recover access through your authentication provider or contact us for a separate identity review; deletion remains pending until identity is established.

3. Account data and public YouTube content

The request covers your profile, private workspace, saved associations, notes, analysis history, generated content and preferences, subject to applicable exceptions. Deleting a ZeekBuzz account does not delete channels or videos on YouTube. Public YouTube records and records belonging to other users must be assessed separately.

4. Records that may be retained

Necessary billing, subscription, credit, accounting, security and dispute records may be retained under applicable legal or contractual obligations. Exceptions must identify their purpose, scope and retention criterion; they do not justify retaining all account content indefinitely. Account deletion is not itself a refund or cancellation confirmation.

Backups are restricted recovery copies, not active accounts. We do not promise immediate removal of an individual record from every backup. The lifecycle of existing copies, provider recovery windows and removal procedures still require operational verification before final publication. Restricted or offline storage alone does not establish compliant retention. Before restored data can serve users, the operator must reapply previously verified deletion requests in isolation and verify that erased accounts and private content cannot be reactivated. Minimal request and legally necessary record references are kept only for the documented purpose and reviewed retention period.

An authentication identity shared with another account or application you still use may be retained only for that separate, justified purpose. Access to the deleted ZeekBuzz account stays blocked. We will explain any such exception in the completion response.

5. Confirmation and timing

We will respond through the institutional email channel to explain verification, the request scope and any justified retention, and confirm completion when it has actually occurred. Applicable YouTube user-data deletion must occur as soon as possible and within seven calendar days. This page does not certify an unverified deletion procedure or promise that sending an email immediately deletes data.

6. Cannot access your account?

Contact privacy@zeekbuzz.com without signing in and explain that you cannot access the account. We will assess an appropriate alternative verification; do not share credentials. Cookie withdrawal, removal of Google access and deletion of your ZeekBuzz account are separate actions.
