Adidas Original and Prada Announce NFT Project

Both two brands reveal Adidas for Prada re-source project in collaboration with digital artist Zach Lieberman

Proceeds from NFT sales will be donated to charities and allocated to the artist and creators in the community.

Introducing Adidas for Prada re-souce – an NFT collaboration that will feature user-generated artwork owned by the creator. The project is expected to bring together fashion, design and cryptocurrency participants to co-create a large-scale digital artwork inspired by the physical Re-Nylon collection.

The NFTs from Adidas for Prada re-source will be created on the Polygon blockchain.

Adidas and Prada will invite their audience to contribute exclusive anonymous photographs to the NFT Open-Metaverse project. 3,000 community-sourced artworks will be minted as NFTs and compiled as pieces into a single patchwork NFT designed by renowned digital artist, Zach Lieberman. A truly collaborative effort – participation in the Adidas for Prada re-source NFT project is completely free, and contributors will retain full ownership rights to their individual NFT blocks.

Adidas and Prada will take Lieberman’s latest NFT up for auction on SuperRare.

Morgan Stanley predicts that the total NFT market is expected to grow to $300 billion by 2030. The report identifies luxury brands like Gucci, Balenciaga and Kering as the best position to profit from digital collaborations in the metaverse.
