Floyd Mayweather to fight Logan Paul in February
YouTuber Logan Paul struck a deal to fight former boxing mega star Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a “special screening” fight on February 20. The fight will be broadcast on pay-per-view on Fanmio.
Mayweather is an undefeated champion with a 50-0 record, several world titles in five weight classes and an Olympic bronze medal. Paul is best known for his controversial YouTube video, where he filmed a corpse in a Japanese forest. He fought in a sanctioned boxing match: a defeat for fellow YouTuber KSI.
Mayweather called Logan Paul last month on Twitter, making his opinion about YouTubers boxers clear. He said he “is not the right type for children’s games”. Paul’s brother Jake responded to Mayweather’s comments about his fight against former NBA player Nate Robinson, which he ended up winning.
